#5 Magomed Dibirgadzhiev (RUS) and #6 Israil Kasumov both moved up in weight post nationals for the Russia Cup, with Dibirgadzhiev to 74 KG and Kasumov to 79 KG. Dibirgadzhiev is currently 10th ranked at 74 KG while Kasumov is unranked at 79 KG but is likely to drop back down to 74 KG come time for upcoming events. #9 Anzor Zakuev (RUS) moves up four spots in the rankings due to Kasumov’s and Dibirgadzhiev’s change in weight classes and for the fact he has a better overall resume then the guys below him who are in off of the strength of numerous head to head wins over one another but struggle with international output. Abdulla Gadzhimagomedov, #7 moves up to #6, Magomedov took 5th at Russian nationals and beat #7 Ramadan Ramazanov (RUS) who beat 2018 national runner-up #8 Arpak Sat (RUS) who beat 2016 Russian nationals bronze medalist #9 Ildous Giniyatullin (RUS) who had beaten #10 Ruslan Bogatyev (RUS).
