September:

#1 Zavur Uguev moved up to 61 KG where he is confirmed as the world rep and has been removed from the 57 KG rankings and is now #1 at 61 KG. #4 Lev Pavlov finished silver at the Junior World Championships to #9 (INT) Luke Lilledahl (USA). #7 Nachyn Mongush won the Alexander Medved Memorial over U23 National runner-up Imam Umarov with Murad Islamov and Fedor Postnikov taking bronze. #7 Nachyn Mongush won the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial over #16 (INT) Islam Bazarganov (AZE) with Khabib Mekhtikhanov and #2 (61) Abubakar Mutaliev taking bronze. Khabib Mekhtikhanov debuts in the rankings at #6 for beating #2 Artem Gobaev in the quarterfinals of the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial. #2 (61) Abubakar Mutaliev slots in at #8 behind Khadartsev Brothers Memorial bronze medalist #7 Khabib Mekhtikhanov. #7 Nachyn Mongush moves up three spots to #4 for winning the Medved Memorial and the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial.

Akhmed Zubairov won U23 Russian Nationals over Anzor Mazhidov with Said Khunkerov and Khalid Magomedov taking bronze. Akhmed Zubairov takes the #9 spot in the rankings for beating #6 Bair Bayanduev at U23 Nationals and Said Khunkerov takes the #10 spot for beating #6 Bair Bayanduev for bronze. #6 Bair Bayanduev drops out of the rankings due to losses to #9 Akhmed Zubairov and #10 Said Khunkerov at U23 Russian Nationals.

September

#1 (57) Zavur Uguev is confirmed as the world rep for Russia and takes the #1 spot in the rankings. Aryan Tyutrin (BLR) won the Medved Memorial over Rustam Zhilyasov with Dmitry Shamelo (BLR) and Magomed Sebedinov taking bronze.

#8 (65) Alik Khadartsev returns to the rankings at #2 for beating 2023 61 KG Senior World runner-up, 65 KG Senior Russian National runner-up #2 (65) Abasgadzhi Magomedov, #7 Chermen Tavitov, and #5 Tamerlan Karaev at the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial. Bronze medalists at the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial Tournament were #1 Muslim Mekhtikhanov and #5 Tamerlan Karaev (RUS). #2 (65) Abasgadzhi Magomedov returns to the 61 KG rankings at #3 behind #2 Alik Khadartsev, who he lost to at the Khadartsev Brother Memorial. #7 Chermen Tavitov moves up three spots to #4 for beating former #1 Muslim Mekhtikhanov, who falls four spots to #5. Former #2 Abubakar Mutaliev cut down to 57 KG where he failed to place at the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial and is ranked eight.

Amal Dzhandubaev won U23 Russian Nationals over Rustam Dolaev with Ramazan Chankaev and Eldar Akhmadudinov taking bronze.

September

Adam Arkhiev took bronze at the Junior World Championships. #2 Abasgadzhi Magomedov won the Oil Capital Cup over #16 (INT) Mais Aliyev (KAZ) with Adil Ospanov (KAZ) and Musa Aghayev (AZE) taking bronze, Magomedov cut down to 61 KG and did not place at the Khadartsev Brother Memorial after a quarterfinal loss to #2 (61) Alik Khadartsev. Magomedov is currently ranked 3rd at 61 KG.

#2 Ibragim Ibragimov won the Medved Memorial over U23 Nationals bronze medalist Ramazan Chankaev with Rashid Babazade (AZE) and Magomedsharif Magomedov taking bronze. #1 Shamil Mamedov won the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial over Marat Fadzaev with #10 Ramazan Ferzaliev and Gadzhimurad Omarov taking bronze. Marat Fadzaev debuts in the rankings at #9 for beating #10 Ramazan Ferzaliev at the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial. 2022 Russian Nationals Runner-up Gadzhimurad Omarov is back in the rankings because he has a better resume (‘22 silver, ‘23 bronze, wins over Gadzhimurad Rashidov, Ibragim Abdurakhmanov, Julian Gergenov) than #9 Marat Fadzaev

#4 Magomed-Emi Eitemirov moves up one spots to #3 for winning U23 Russian Nationals over Gadzhimurad Gadzhiev and for beating Ali Aliyev champion #3 Umar Umarov (RUS) on his way to the finals. Ali Makhachev debuts in the rankings at #4 for beating #4 Umar Umarov for bronze. The other bronze medalist at U23 Russian Nationals was Dalgat Abdulkadyrov. #3 Umar Umarov drops two spots to #5 for his losses to #3 Magomed-Emi Eitemirov and #4 Ali Makhachev.

Magomed Baitukaev took silver at the Junior World Championships to Ryoya Yamashita (JPN). #1 Inalbek Sheriev won the Medved Memorial by forfeit over #2 Kurban Shiraev with Sayin Kazyryk and Ali Rahimzade (AZE) taking bronze. #4 (INT) Abdulmazhid Kudiev (TJK) won the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial over #5 (INT) Tulga Tumur Ochir (MGL) with #5 Umar Umarov and #9 (INT) Ernazar Akmataliev (KGZ) taking bronze.

Ismail Khaniev won the U23 Russian National Championships over Vladimir Boyanovsky with Alexander Baltuev and Albik Petrosyan taking bronze.

Dzhabrail Gadzhiev (AZE) won the Medved Memorial over Georgy Dzotziev with Akhmed Nurakhmaev and Magomedrasul Asluev (BRN) taking bronze. Aznaur Tavaev takes the #2 spot in the rankings for winning the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial over #13 (INT) Aghanazar Novruzov (AZE) with #2 Anzor Zakuev and #9 Imam Ganishov taking bronze. The reason Tavaev takes the #2 spot is because he beat #13 (INT) Aghanazar Novruzov (AZE) who beat #2 Anzor Zakuev in the semis. Tavaev also notched a win over three-time World medalist #8 (INT) Taimuraz Salkazanov (SVK) at the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial.

Arsen Balayan won U23 Russian Nationals over #5 Abdulkerim Abdulaev with Malamagomed Gadzhiev and Magomed Idrisov taking bronze. Balayan debuts in the 79 KG rankings at #7 which will be explained further in the September portion of the rankings due to the results of the Medved Memorial and Khadartsev Brothers Memorial.

#1 (97) Abdulrashid Sadulaev won his wrestle off for the Senior World Team against #1 Alan Bagaev to take the #1 spot in the rankings. #8 Mustafagadzhi Malachdibirov won Junior World’s over Sali Saliev (BUL) with Anar Jafarli (AZE) and Kamil Kurugliev (KAZ) taking bronze.

#13 (INT) Abubakar Abakarov (AZE) won the Medved Memorial over Omar Ziyautdinov with Shamil Zubairov (AZE) and Yaroslov Yadovsky (BLR) taking bronze. #11 (INT) Batyrbek Tsakulov (SVK) won the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial over #9 (86) Mukhamed-Takhir Khaniev with #6 Azamat Zakuev and Omar Ziyautdinov taking bronze. #9 (86) Mukhamed-Takhir Khaniev takes the #9 spot for beating #9 Omar Ziyautdinov to make the finals of the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial.

Alikhan Ktsoev takes the #1 spot in the rankings with the departure of Abdulrashid Sadulaev to 92 KG by winning the Khadartsev Brother Memorial 97 KG and Absolute Weight Tournaments. At 97 KG, Alikhan Ktsoev won gold over #5 Sergey Kozyrev with silver medalists being #8 Soslan Dzhagaev and Gadzhimagomed Tazhudinov. At the Khadartsev Brothers Memorial, Alikhan Ktsoev notched wins over #2 Alikhan Zhabrailov, #2 (125) Shamil Musaev, #5 Sergey Kozyrev, and #12 (INT) Alen Khubulov (BUL).
