Bronze medalists at the Ali Aliyev were #2 Muslim Mekhtikhanov (RUS) and Hajimagomed Hajiyev (RUS). Nahshon Garrett (USA) returns to the rankings in a major way at #7 after winning the U.S. World Team Trials tournament with victories over #7 Austin DeSanto (USA), Nathan Tomasello (USA), and #9 Daton Fix (USA). Taking bronze at the U.S. World Team Trials was #9 Austin DeSanto (USA) over Nathan Tomasello (USA). Nathan Tomasello (USA) debuts in the 61 KG rankings at #10 for beating #8 Seth Gross in the repechage bracket of the U.S. World Team Trials. #8 Seth Gross drops three spots in the rankings to #11 for his losses to #8 Daton Fix (USA) and #10 Nathan Tomasello (USA) at the U.S. World Team Trials.

Two-time Russian Nationals bronze medalist #15 Cherman Tavitov (RUS) has been removed from the rankings as he competed up at 70 KG at the Ali Aliyev where he lost to Aznaur Tavaev (RUS) in the round of 16. #5 Reza Atri (IRI) won the Takhti Cup. #6 Vito Arujau (USA) won the Pan-Am Championships over Joey Silva (PUR) with Jason Luneau (CAN) taking bronze. Imran Khunkerov (RUS) won the U23 Championship of Dagestan by injury default over Imam Umarov (RUS). Magomedov debuts at #8 for his victorious debut at the Ali Aliev. Bronze medalists at the Ali Aliev were Ikromzhon Khadzhimuradov (KGZ) and #17 Gadzhimurad Omarov (RUS). #7 Yianni Diakomihalis (USA) won the Pan-Am Championships over two-time Senior World bronze medalist Alejandro Valdes Tobier (CUB). Bronze medalists at the Pan-Am Championships were Sebastian Rivera (PUR) and Augustin Destribats (ARG). Dzhambulat Kizinov (RUS) won the Russian University Nationals over Magomed Tazhudinov (RUS) with Abdulmuslim Murtazov (RUS) and Akhmednabi Ubaidulaev (RUS) taking bronze. Mohammad Reza Shakri (IRI) won the Takhti Cup. Eduard Grigoriev (POL) won Polish Nationals. Eldar Akhmadudinov (RUS) won the U23 Championship of Dagestan over Akhmednabi Ubaidulaev (RUS). Sarmat Bestaev (RUS) debuts in the rankings at #11 for beating #6 Konstantin Kaprynov (RUS) at Russian University Nationals. 2020 74 KG Olympic runner-up #4 (79) Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov (BLR) made his return to 74 KG where he took gold at the Ali Aliyev Memorial over Magomed Kardanov (RUS). Bronze medalists at the Ali Aliyev were #17 Imam Ganishov (RUS) and Biyosoltan Arslanov (RUS). Kadimagomedov slots in at #2 in the rankings thanks to his past wins over #1 Zaurbek Sidakov (RUS), #3 Kyle Dake (USA), #4 Taimuraz Salkazanov (SVK), and #5 Frank Chamizo (ITA). Magomed Kardanov (RUS) debuts in the rankings at #16 for upsetting #17 Imam Ganishov (RUS) at the Ali Aliyev.

#8 Younes Emami (IRI) won the Takhti Cup. #3 Kyle Dake (USA) won the Pan-Am Championships over Franklin Gomez (PUR). Bronze medalists at the Pan-Am Championships were Franklin Maren Castillo (CUB) and Cesar Bordeuax Rego Alvan (BRA). 2021 70 KG Junior World bronze medalist Stanislav Svinoboev won the Russian University Nationals over Dinislam Bolurov (RUS) by injury default. Bronze medalists at the Russian University Nationals were Malamagomed Gamzatov (RUS) and Gadzhimurad Gazanov (RUS). 2021 70 KG Senior World champion Magomedmurad Gadzhiev (POL) won Polish Nationals. Gadzhiev notched a significant win over 2020 Olympian Kamil Rybicki (POL) in the semifinals. Nigmatula Nigmatulaev (RUS) won U23 Championship of Dagestan over Murad Khabichev (RUS). Bronze medalists at the U23 Championship of Dagestan were Ramazan Muradov (RUS) and Said Musaev (RUS). Magomed-Salah Isakov (RUS) won the Degi Bagaev Memorial over Said-Akhmed Zavurbekov (RUS). Bronze medalists at the Degi Bagaev Memorial were Suleiman Aliev (RUS) and Magomed Surkhoev (RUS).

#2 Ali Savadkouhi (IRI) won the Takhti Cup. #4 Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov (BLR) moved down to 74 KG, where he captured gold at the Ali Aliyev Memorial. Kadimagomedov is ranked second at 74 KG and has been removed from the 79 KG rankings. Dibir Magomedov (RUS) won the Russian University Nationals over Ali Tsokaev (RUS) with #9 Khalid Yakhiev (RUS) and Marik Shebzukhov (RUS) taking bronze. #6 Gadzhimurad Alikhmaev (RUS) won the Ali Aliyev over Begkhan Misrikhanov (RUS) with Musa Baziev (RUS) and Khalid Elberdiev (RUS). 

There was a significant amount of shakeup in the bottom half of the rankings from the results of Russian University Nationals and the Ali Aliyev Memorial. The addition of Begkhan Misrikhanov (RUS), Dibir Magomedov (RUS), Musa Baziev (RUS), and Ali Tsokaev (RUS) are all dependent on wins over each other and #9 Khalid Yakhiev. The original chain of events starts at Russian University Nationals where #9 Khalid Yakhiev (RUS) is upset by eventual runner-up Ali Tsokaev (RUS), who loses in the finals to Dibir Magomedov (RUS). Begkhan Misrikhanov (RUS) beats Ali Tsokaev (RUS) and Musa Baziev (RUS) at the Ali Aliyev. Baziev beats Tsokaev for bronze. Pan-Am champion Dom Bradley (USA) took bronze at the U.S. World Team Trials over Wyatt Hendrickson (USA). Dom Bradley won the Pan-Am Championships over Jose Diaz Robertii (VEN). Bronze medalists at the Pan-Am Championships were Catriel Muriel (ARG) and Aaron Johnson (JAM). #13 Reineris Salas Perez (CUB) has been removed from the rankings due to his semifinal loss at the Pan-Am Championships to Jose Diaz Robertii (VEN). #12 Amarveer Dhesi (CAN) has been removed due to inactivity and a weak resume dependent on a four year old win over #11 Alan Khugaev at the 2019 Ziolkowski and a victory over a then unranked Reineris Salas Perez (CUB) at the 2022 Senior World Championships before Salas upset Erik Dzhioev at the Dmitri Korkin Memorial Tournament.

Zelimkhan notched two ranked wins at the Ali Aliyev over the likes of #15 Abdulla Kurbanov (RUS) and #16 Khasan Khubaev (RUS). Said Gairbekov (RUS) won Russian University Nationals over Nikita Khabarov (RUS).
